The design idea of the site is DECAY. Combined with the current situation of the Granton walled garden, I think the site is in the process of moving from decay to restoration. At the same time, new communities are joining around the site. Combining with the potential soil conditions of Granton, I pointed the focus of this design to agricultural activities and community participation. I proposed three design strategies. The purpose is to transform the Granton walled garden into a community public space, where people can grow vegetables and fruits or other plants. The mature plants can be processed locally, people around can dine here on a specific date or a certain festival and enjoy the fruits of labor. At the same time, after a period of development of the site, when the output exceeds demand, it can be converted into a dinner or restaurant to serve the public, especially the people in the city center, so that the Granton walled garden can return to people's vision.
